Julie and RobbieJulie entered the world of dietetics with the primary goal of helping children to learn how to lead a happy and healthy life.  As an overweight kid herself, Julie began the process of transforming her mind and body at the age of 12.  Throughout her lifelong and continuing journey, Julie is in touch with the feelings and emotions that face children that deal with weight as an issue.  Julie believes that children are never too young to learn the connection between a balanced diet and strong body.

Her approach to working with kids on all issues from overweight to food allergies is to empower them with the knowledge they need to feel confident in any situation.  Julie speaks to families with language that kids understand so that the entire family is educated.  As a mother of three young children, Julie understands firsthand the pressures of the daily routine and how to make a balanced diet “fit in” to our busy schedules.

Initial visits with Julie are one hour in length and provide a comprehensive introduction to your area of concern.  Julie also offers half-hour follow up sessions to ensure families stay on track.  Julie is committed to your families’ success and makes herself available via text and email in between office visits.

Julie is also proud to coach a number of local student athletic teams and groups on their nutritional game plan.  As any athlete would say, there are few things more important than having a balanced diet to fuel you during your athletic performance.  Julie provides classes to groups, large and small, to make sure your team or group is putting its best foot forward when it comes to performance.
